Graduation 2018 Information



Important Dates


























 
  • Career Pathway Completion Ceremony will take place on May 24, 2018 at 6pm in the theatre. All students completing a career pathway and their parents will receive an invitation to this event. Please see your CTE instructors should you have any questions.
  • Senator Superstar Awards will take place on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 6pm in the Theatre with a light reception in the cafeteria. These awards will be for all grade levels to celebrate students showing distinguished leadership, citizenship and sportsmanship.
  • Graduation Bus Tour will take place before graduation practice on Monday June 4th. There is much for you to know about this event so please reference the Graduation Bus Tour Information
  • Senior Awards Night will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 6pm in the Theatre with a reception following in the cafeteria.
    • The purpose of the Senior Awards Program is to recognize those students who have achieved a level of excellence and who will receive an award during the program. If your senior is scheduled to receive an award during this program, he/she will be notified during the latter part of May.
    • Many students receive offers of scholarships from colleges throughout the year which are not presented at the awards program. However, if your child is a recipient of a scholarship from a college/university or organization, please have him/her complete the 2018 Scholarship Information Sheet and return it to the Guidance Office. Please make sure we receive this information no later than May 15th, in order for it to appear in the graduation program.
 
Final Exams will be held on the following dates for seniors:  
Monday, May 21, 2018 (A day) - 1A & 2A Exams
Tuesday, May 22, 2018 (B day) - 1B & 2B Exams
Wednesday, May 23, 2018 (A day)  - 3A & 4A Exams
Thursday, May 24, 2018 (B day)  - 3B & 4B Exams


Dues and Obligations

Class Dues are due at this time. Monthly reminders have been mailed home since September regarding other non-library obligations. Before students can purchase a ticket for the prom or receive graduation tickets, they must take care of all obligations. The chart below gives contact information for specific obligations. All payments should be given to Darlene Bare, Senior Secretary located in the Main Office.

Graduation Attire

Caps and Gowns will be distributed May 10th. If you recently ordered or have not ordered and will, your cap and gown will be in by graduation, but no specific date is available.
Final payments or orders can be made in $40 CASH to Ms. Bare in the main office ASAP.
